The New Jacket Is Inspired By The 1940s
The new Shangri-La Heritage Varenne jacket for women is inspired by the late 1940s sports jackets. It’s made with a tailoring fit and represents an authentic garment that is made of chrome-tanned leather. The name of the jacket, Varenne, is a tribute to a legendary Italian horse that was the best racer of all time.
The Leather Of The Jacket
The leather jacket is made of heavyweight full-grain steerhide from Vicenza, Italy. It’s chrome-tanned, and drum dyed. The leather will age nicely with time and wear, so it will be better each day. There’s also the possibility to add fringe on the back and the sleeves for that extra Western look and feel.
Details Of The Jacket
The lining of the jacket is made of an ‘espresso coffee’ color viscose lining, while the padding (the body) is made of 100% cotton. There’re two zippers on the front pockets, and one zipper on the inside pocket. They’re antique brass with engraved markings. The labels inside the jacket are Jacquard labels.
The pockets on the jacket are lined in brown color from 100% cotton. There’s tab-adjustable on the waist.
Cotton Screen-Printed Bag
Every jacket comes in a high quality 100% organic natural cotton bag. It’s laced with Havana rope and with a screen-printed Shangri-La Heritage logo.
Handmade In Italy
The Varenne jacket is handmade in Italy. It’s designed and tested in Bergamo, Northern Italian Alps. And, it’s also possible to made to measure, just contact Shangri-La Heritage.
