The menswear store Store Du Nord in The Hague, The Netherlands worked again together with The Concrete Tailoring Workshop from Madrid on a few special styles. The soon-to-launch exclusive Painters Denim Collection is now ready to pre-order.
A Natural Step To Continue Their Previous Collab
Having the same view on how new workwear and rugged formal wear should look like it was a natural step to continue their previous collaboration. This time, Fernando, the maker, and Jeroen (owner of Du Nord) worked on this new project decided to develop artisanally made garments inspired by workwear and formal attire from mid-20th century styles worn by artists, painters, craftsmen, and other creative individuals.
The Painters Denim Collection
The Painters Denim Collection by Store Du Nord x The Concrete Tailoring Workshop consists of three special styles as the Painter Popover Jacket, Casual Trouser, and Formal Trouser.
The Painter Popover Jacket is made from a beautiful Japanese 10oz. neppy weft denim, coined painters denim. It is woven by Collect, one of the most renowned mills in Japan. The jacket features a naval-inspired collar, raglan sleeve, button closing, 1 buttoned chest pocket, 1 buttoned rear pocket, and a loose fit. The indigo blue corozo fisheye buttons are made exclusively for this limited production.
The Painter Casual Trouser is made from the same 10oz. neppy weft denim, coined painters denim. The trousers feature a high-rise, flat front, 2 large military-inspired back pockets, and a loose fit. The indigo blue corozo fisheye buttons are made exclusively for this limited production.
The Painter Formal Trouser is also made from the same Japanese 10oz. neppy weft denim, coined painters denim. The trousers feature a Hollywood waistband construction (continuous waistband instead of separately made and stitched), high rise, double pleats, and a loose fit. The indigo blue Corozo fisheye buttons are made exclusively for this limited production.
