Studio D’Artisan 40th Anniversary Denim Banner

Japanese denim brand Studio D’Artisan celebrates its 40-anniversary this year. Earlier this year they already launched their Crazy jeans and jacket. Read more about these items here if you missed them. Now, they released another anniversary item, the Denim Banner.

History Of The Banners

Denim Banners are used since the 1940s, and 1950s to promote the denim brand in stores, and events. The banner showed consumers that a specific store was a seller of the brand, and it showed also new developments by the brand. Nowadays these banners are hard to find, and true collectible pieces. Don’t be surprised if you have to pay a couple of thousands on eBay to get your hands on an original.

Features Of The Denim Banner

The Studio D’Artisan Denim Banner is made on selvedge fabric with a blue line ID. The banner is stitched with chain stitches at the end and has buttons in the corners so you can easily hang it at your wall. For the colors, they have chosen for authentic denim banner colors which you see at originals from brands as Levi’s, Lee, and Wrangler too. The design is a 40th anniversary graphic, together with some quotes. All in all, a great piece to decorate your house or office with a piece of denim art.
