Made By Skilled Tailors
The new Companion Denim jacket is made in their atelier close by to Barcelona by their team of highly skilled tailors. It’s made of a 14oz rough and hairy Italian selvedge denim.
Inspired By Type 2 Jacket
The base of the jacket is inspired by an authentic Type 2 denim jacket. It is mainly produced with a single needle stitch and made of denim fabric from 60% cotton and 40% hemp. The fabric itself is sanforized, so it reduces the shrinkage.
The lining of the Companion Denim jacket is made of an Italian indigo Wabash fabric. And, the sleeves are lined with Italian navy Chambray.
Details Of The Jacket
What makes this jacket extra unique is the Italian brown cord on the yoke, inside pocket flaps, inner cuffs, and under the collar.
Next to a selvedge redline ID on the closure, it’s also used on the hanger loop. There’s also a hidden selvedge coin pocket added on the jacket. The jacket itself is sewn with Tobacco colored thread. The waistband of the jacket is finished with a chain stitch for that original look.
The pockets on the front panel are pointed and have a flap closure. All the buttons are laurel leaves and darkened. They’re fastened with leather on the backside. There’re also triangle leather reinforcements on the pocket openings. The buckle on the backside of the jacket is from YKK.
This Companion Denim style will be produced on made to order basis. This means that they will produce the jacket when an order is placed. The production time for these products depends on their load of orders, being the average on 2-4 weeks.
