The New Red Wing Shoes Wacouta 3335 Boots
Red Wing Shoes launched for this Spring Summer the new Wacouta 3335 boots. The boots are made with a combination of copper rough and tough leather and tan waxed canvas. The canvas comes from the American manufacturer Fairfield Textiles. They’re operating already since 1838. The waxed canvas uses the Martexin Original Wax system, globally renowned for its long-lasting waterproofing.
The Wacouta 3335 boots are built on a Vibram Honeywheat outsole, with a stitch down construction providing lightweight flexibility and comfort. The boots are perfect for Spring and upcoming warm Summer days.
The History Behind The Boots
The Wacouta boots are an outdoor-inspired leisure style. Its a follow-up in the tradition of the Wabasha boot, which was a widely celebrated moccasin style in the mid-2000s. Five miles south of Red Wing, Minnesota, along with the banks of the Mississippi River, Wacouta Township is the site of a cabin that has been in the Red Wing family for three generations. Sunny days at the beach and starry nights around the bonfire inspired the boot’s relaxed, comfortable design.
