Technologies Developed With Their Global Stakeholders

The Denge Kimya team is constantly in search of needs within the industry. This is to develop new technologies in collaboration with their global stakeholders. Most of the developments are done by Denge Kimya’s in-house R&D team. They own an important part of the responsible design process for the making of modern denim and jeans, ensuring beauty can be achieved with less impact.

They’re aware of their responsibilities in the garment’s journey from the field to landfill and therefore they offer solutions for a clean, safe, fair, transparent, and better textile industry. They know that clothes are your second skin and to love them longer, they must be comfortable, reliable, and care for the environment throughout their life cycle.

Design Next Green And Terra

Therefore, they launched their Design Next Green denim washing series and Terra natural dyes. With Design Next Green, Denge Kimya offers technically designed products to attain the authentic denim aspect without the use of pumice stones, potassium permanganate, and neutralization.

With the launch of Terra natural dyes, they allow them to design clothes with plants. This is to be as close as possible to nature. All the dyes are made from plants or waste of fruits. The dyes are coming directly from the earth and are similar to the Earth Goddess. Terra’s mission is to contribute to guarding the planet. Each color has its unique story that refers to our history and our roots.

About The Terra Dyes

Terra is the Latin name for the earth, so a direct link to the new earth-friendly dyes. In mythology, it is the name of the Goddess who is the guardian deity of the planet.

The Terra dyes use way less amount of water consumption compared to synthetic dyestuffs. If you take a look at the time consumption during dyeing and washing, with Terra it saves you almost 150 minutes. And, the amount of saving water with Terra’s dyeing and washing steps is around 4 tons, based on 100 kg of cotton fabric. An immense difference!

The Launch At Denim Days In Amsterdam

Last April, they held Terra’s first launch in Amsterdam at the Denim Days festival. There was an incredible interest in Terra from different brands, producers as well as designers, and consumers. Everyone could experience the unique dyeing process while joining a dye workshop where you could create your unique pair of socks.
