The Next Step For Denim Repair Store & Atelier
The driving force behind Dutch Denim Repair, Edwin van Zoeren, is expanding his successful denim business. What started in 2018 as a hobby is now making his next steps by opening a physical store and atelier in Ridderkerk, close to Rotterdam, The Netherlands. A place where denim heads can come together, a hang-out where they also can experience the craftsmanship from Edwin, and explore his new adventures.
March this year was already a milestone for Edwin when he launched his first Dutch Denim Project capsule collection. This collection featured two pairs of jeans fits, with one rigid (unwashed) selvedge fabric, and was sold out in a minute. His business is growing each day, and with the opening of his Dutch Denim Repair location, he’s ready for the next level.
What To Expect
At Dutch Denim Repair you can walk in any time to repair your favorite pair of jeans to extend its lifetime. Edwin has also an original Union Special chain stitch machine, so you can also shorten your jeans with classic stitching. Also, the Dutch Denim Project styles will be for sale as well, so you can fit and check them out in real life too.
Next to that, the special (vintage) denim treasures, labeled as Wear Tear Repair can be bought here as well while enjoying a freshly made cup of coffee as he partnered up with Stooker Specialty Coffee.
The Official Opening
You can visit Dutch Denim Repair any day of the week, Monday to Saturday, on an appointment, and Friday’s the doors are open the entire day, so that day an appointment isn’t needed. The official opening is planned for Friday the 3rd of September, but for those who can’t wait, you’re more than welcome before that time for a private tour at Dutch Denim Repair.
