Inspired By The Late 1930s
The new Cossack leather jacket by Shangri-La Heritage is made with full-grain Lambskin natural vegetable-tanned leather. This jacket is inspired by the late 1930s Cossack-type jacket but twisted with an Italian touch.
The Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather
The jacket is made with an unlined construction for the best comfort and breathable feeling, with a careful selection of the best hides from Tuscany, Italy. The leather will change color with the wear, developing a unique patina on the jacket, as a personal journey over time. The leather starts to tan when it’s exposed to sunlight, and gives it natural and various shades of golden and brown tones.
This type of leather ages just like wood, and it absorbs what interacts with it. The oils from your hands, water, dirt, heat, and sunlight will leave their mark, writing the story of your jacket. The longer you wear it, the more beautiful it will get.
The Details Of The Jacket
