The Relaunch Of Jean Shop’s Rocker Jeans
Last month, Jean Shop relaunched its brand (and webshop), so everyone around the globe can easily get a pair now. With the relaunch of their unisex Rocker style, they brought back their contemporary slim straight jeans cut. They refined this traditional five-pocket jeans over the past twenty years to its simplest form to get the best jeans possible.
Manufactured In The United States Of America
The Rocker by Jean Shop jeans is manufactured in Los Angeles, the U.S.A., to guarantee the highest quality. It’s made with their trademark triple XXX quality 13,75oz raw selvedge from Japan. The selvedge shows an orange ID. The 100% cotton from the fabric comes from the United States and is used for their 3 x 1 right-hand twill.
The warp threads are indigo dyed, while the weft is natural, which is the most common for jeans fabrics. Over time, the jean will shape the wearer’s body and fade beautifully, just like vintage jeans.
The Unique Details Of Jean Shop’s Rocker Style
Jean Shop pays much attention to details; even the inside is carefully constructed, just like the outside. Therefore, the selvedge fly is fastened with a durable Swiss-made Riri copper zipper with the Jean Shop signature orange tape. Their metal zippers do not stretch, withstanding heavy washing and wear without breaking or changing shape.
Next to that, they double-chain stitched the waistband, helping increase stretchability while maintaining the garment shape over the years of wash and wear. Their traditional pointed back pockets are anchored with sturdy hidden inner back tacks. They’re stitched at the top edge of the back pockets. And additionally, the pockets are reinforced with a ¼ lining to increase the durability and longevity of the pockets too. A typical reference to traditional workwear denim pants.
More Unique Features On The Jean Shop Jeans
Other unique details of Jean Shop’s Rocker style are the heavy-duty twill orange pocket bags with washing instructions and production details such as when they were made. Also, the leather waistband patch is stitched by hand with the brand’s name. And, on the inside of the waistband, they stitched an orange lab with details about the jean as the size, fit, and production.
The hem of the Rocker jeans is chain-stitched, an authentic stitch detail where one continuous thread is looped back on itself. Over time, with wear and washing, this will turn into the so-called classic rope fades. This chain-stitch method is also used for the waistband, as it’s stronger than traditional lock stitching.
Jean Shop About Their Rocker Style
