The Weekender Bag By Butts And Shoulders
The new Weekender bag by Butts and Shoulders is ready to explore the world. The Weekender combines the flexibility of a backpack with the space of a classic duffel bag. Perfect for a short city trip, or another adventure. The bag is a follow-up on the successful, and first item ever produced by the Dutch brand, the Travel Bag.
Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather
The Weekender is made with high-quality natural vegetable tanned leather, this is the DNA of the Butts and Shoulders brand. This leather type will age with wear very beautiful and will change into a warm cognac color. The bag is lined inside with heavy ecru cotton, and there’s a zip-pocket inside too where you can put your passport or other travel documentation in.
Customized Rubber Plate
The synthetic zipper is smooth and makes it very easy to open, and close, the bag. The bag itself is stitched with heavy ecru thread, and on some points are nails used for extra durability. On the outside is also a little ‘secret’ side-pocket which can be opened with the magnetic lock-option.
As the bottom of the bag is a customized rubber plate produced with a special world map on it. One of the dots on the map is orange, this is where the brand is based, The Netherlands. The bag itself is produced in sunny Portugal.
Multiple Ways To Carry Your Bag
You can carry the Weekender with the handles on top, as a regular bag. You can lock the side-straps on the hooks on the side. If you want to carry the bag easy over your shoulders, you can release the side straps and attach them to the extra belt that comes with it.
The Best Leather From Tuscany
The leather of the Weekender comes from Pelle Conciata al Vegetale from Toscany. A consortium of genuine Italian vegetable tanned leather tanneries. This consortium regulates, preserves and guarantees the production of vegetable-tanned leather made in Tuscany. Their institution is a guarantee for quality. To identify and guarantee the quality, the Consortium created a label endowed with a product traceability system. All of the Weekenders have this label and therefore are traceable via the system.
