Third Collaboration Watch
The new Nigel Cabourn X Timex watch is the third collaboration between both brands. The new collab watch is based on the 36mm MK1 field watch in stainless steel of the leading global watchmaker.
Military Heritage And British Innovation
The watch links to the nods of the military heritage and British innovation with the striking yellow dial and Ventile cotton strap. It pays tribute to the brave RAF (Royal Air Force) flight crews that crash-landed in the cold seas during World War 2.
The survival yellow dial and Ventile strap recall the high-visibility life vests and Ventile flight suits worn by Royal Air Force pilots and crewmen during WW2. The vests aided in spotting and rescuing the crewmen in rough seas, and the Ventile immersion suits helped the men stay relatively warm and dry in the dangerously cold water.
The collectible watch will be delivered with an extra slip-through strap in black leather. It’s packed in a special vintage-style cotton drill pouch carrying through the ‘survival yellow’ theme.
Details Of The Watch
The watch is made with a 36mm stainless steel case, 18mm fixed lugs, and is 30-meter water resistance. It comes with two straps, blue and black. It has a battery-powered quartz movement, and an Army mending kit branded packaging.
