Ben Viapiana is the driving force behind the Viapiana brand which is named after his family name. Ben is making bespoke jeans on a very high level. His tailor skills is something familiar as his father was surrounded by the tailoring industry in Italy from his youth. The skills from his father made that it was a natural step for Ben Viapiana to enter the crafted industry too. Picking up the needle and thread and stepping on a few pedals of his sewing machines was a nice escape to a free and borderless world of custom anything. Slowly moving his boundaries away and opening new doors he started to create pieces that not only he was proud of, but pieces that people wanted to buy. He started to custom for anyone and everyone. Ben is using older machines for the reason that it gives the wearer as well as the maker a sense of accomplishment and care. Fine-tuning and respect to the machines he use is an important part of coming out with a satisfying product. The goal with Viapiana is always to create something unique with a high standard. You can create your ultimate pair of jeans, waist coat or jacket by Ben Viapiana. It all starts with measuring your sizes from the waist band, front rise, back rise, top thigh, the knee, the length and the hem. You can see here how it works. After this first step you’re ready to pick your favorite (denim) fabric. Ben Viapiana is using a lot of Japanese selvedge fabrics from mills as Kurabo, Kaihara and Nihon Menphu.

The next step is picking the right trims as rivets, buttons, thread and patch to complete your custom Viapiana item. There are so many options, so take your time picking the ones that matches with you wishes. Its also possible to create your own arcuates, stitches, etc. Its all about the details.
