W.H. Ranch Dungarees Maverick Cowboy Jacket
The Maverick Cowboy Jacket by W.H. Ranch Dungarees is a variation of their iconic R1901J Cowboy jacket. It features a few new details as the collar is made of deadstock Cone Mills corduroy, with a Western scroll detail on the back, gusseted back panel for comfort and raw brass ‘Union Made’ buttons throughout.
Classic Cowboy Jacket
Its design of the jacket is based on a 1940s Cowboy denim jacket. With pleats on the front and one chest pocket, it’s one of the most iconic denim jackets ever made. This W.H. Ranch Dungarees jacket is made with a bench made single needle construction by one man, so one jacket is made at a time, from start to finish. The riser seams in favor of standard machined felled seams are added for extra durability. This is a popular technique on the turn of the century workwear styles.
It’s About Details
The jacket is finished with eye for detail as there’re no raw fabric edges or overlocked edges. Everything is ‘clean made’. The rivets are copper and made in the U.S.A. as the copper buttons are made in Japan. The keyholes for the buttonholes are set with a vintage Reece 101 machine. The poly core thread is made in Japan.
This W.H. Ranch Dungarees jacket has the craftsmanship and high-quality finish as the rest of their collection, while it features a mix of American and Japanese elements to serve you the best of the best. And the good thing is, that this jacket will only get better with age.
