Worn / Kingpins Volume 1 Magazine

The Worn / Kingpins Volume 1 magazine is just landed. This new magazine is a collaboration born out of the mutual respect and friendship between The Vintage Showroom and the Kingpins Show. The Vintage Showroom released already must have books and mags, but the collaboration to make a magazine with the denim fabric show Kingpins Show is totally new.

The Content Of The Magazine

The magazine explores global street styles and vintage garments that inspire them. The team behind this new magazine is trend forecaster Sue Barett, photographer and filmmaker John Turner, Andrew Olah (Kingpins Show) and Roy Lucklett and Douglas Gunn (The Vintage Showroom). This first Vol. 1 issue celebrates historic denim icons and Western influences. It highlights rare examples of Levi’s, Lee and Wrangler, but also more unknown brands.

Overall the magazine celebrates the enduring importance of the past, and it’s evolution and influence on street trends and contemporary design.

Different Chapters

With 5 different chapters as Dark & Worn, Vintage Whites & Rigid, Desert Hues & Sandy Tones, Indigo Pales & Aged and Personalised & Custom it’s a perfect inspiration source for everyone within the denim industry. On a lot of pictures, they added also the Pantone colors as a source, so perfect for designers as a reference.

Limited Edition Magazine

This magazine is a limited edition. It will be sold exclusively at the upcoming Denim Days and Kingpins Show events. The first events will take place next week in Amsterdam, follow-up by Nashville Denim Days and Kingpins Show in November.
