Worn-Out Projects X Grivec Bros. Cool Pete Part 3
Today it’s Selvedge Sunday, so a perfect day to show Part 3 of the Worn-Out Projects X Grivec Bros. special. Part 3 is the final article of this Worn-Out Projects special. It shows the results of my pair of Grivec Bros. Cool Pete jeans when it dryed after the natural sea rinse in Portugal.
The Results After A Natural Sea Rinse
As I dryed my pair of jeans after the natural sea rinse on the sunny beach it was dry very quick. In just an hour my pair was completely dry again. During the dry process you could see how my wear pattern was coming thru more and more. From a very dark wet condition it slowly turned into a lighter version with my personal achieved pattern. What I personally like about to rinse your jeans that it not loose too many indigo, so after it it’s still pretty dark and stiff. The strongest wear pattern is achieved with the whiskers and honeycombs. As I’m wearing my jeans always a bit loose, one size too big, it always takes longer to create really high contrasts. The good thing about wearing it bit loose is that you don’t get so quick blow-outs.
The pictures of the results after the sea rinse speaks for themselves. There’s so many fading potential left in this pair, so they’re ready for a new round. Will keep you updated about it over another 6 months of wear. To be continued…
